This webinar hosted by Roanoke Electric Cooperative’s Sustainable Forestry and Land Retention Project will examine one of the most challenging issues facing forest landowners: ownership rights. Presenters with expertise in this area will address estate planning strategies, heirs property challenges and resolutions, and the types of deeds held by landowners. They also will explore economic opportunities like hunting, and recreation, as well as other strategies to help increase the asset value of woodlands and keep it within the family for multiple generations.
